NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.4 software and your feedback? - 2008/08/07 19:57 There you have it, a new version is again available. We did get some more BIOS's and with the help of xtremetheme we have a new update to add some extra support. This is a smaller release though we are now able to offer support for the newest GeForce 9 series graphics cards. Upcoming features or things you would like to see. Let us know and we will see what is possible and/or feasible.

NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.4 Software

And please provide your feedback... That way we will be able to support you even better! Also provide your original BIOS as that help a lot to get thing better supported in the next versions!

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.4 software and your feedback? - 2008/08/07 19:58 Just one feedback that we got already and that we will check to add in a next version is the fan speed control option doesn't seems to well presented for the GeForce 9800 GTX and GTX+ graphics cards. But if you have other things you spotted let us know.

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.4 software and your feedback? - 2008/08/07 22:18 Hi, I wonder if you plan on adding support for the GeForce 9500M GS in a future version. I've already left my card's BIOS on that other thread about the GeForce 9 series but apparently I didn't make it in time for it to be supported or maybe I did something wrong? It's just that I'd like to fiddle a little with it and I can't yet so just asking.

On a semi related subject, when I open the BIOS selecting an GeForce 8 series generation when it tells me it's not supported, all but the critical core temperature are blank and greyed out, would this be because it's not fully supported by the program yet or there's just no such setting in it?

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.4 software and your feedback? - 2008/08/07 22:35 Well it is because we haven't added it yet, as we only have one GeForce 9500M GS BIOS and one it not enough to just add the supported code. With two at least we have a double reference that our code is okay. And no by selecting GeForce 8 series you won't be able to see it all as the structure is not entirely the same...

Well give us the original BIOS and we will see that it get's added, without a BIOS there is nothing we can do to get the support added. And that is exactly why we have this thread as well so we can get to know what still is missing and what support is needed, but we always need a BIOS to work on that.

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.4 software and your feedback? - 2008/08/11 10:10 Okay, thanks for sharing. We will look into this and see what can be done. If you have other 55nm versions of the GeForce 9800 GT cards please share those BIOS's as well so we have some more references. Thanks.

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.4 software and your feedback? - 2008/08/15 22:02 I also desperately need support for the GeForce 9500M GS. My card can handle Crysis with all settings very high, and it's perfectly playable at this level with my current overclocks. However, ASUS put the fan boost threshold and the throttling threshold both at the same exact temperature of 97°C. So I'll either throttle down and the game will crash with the drivers stop responding error, or the fan will kick in and I'll get saved by 10°C for a few minutes. The down clock usually occurs and I've already ruled out PowerMizer as the cause. Could be a faulty chip but who knows?

We are working on the support but don't think because we make NiBiTor it is just easy to support all cards, we have a lot of time an effort to spend on adding support and especially those mobile chipset that have always a different structure. And with the lack of user supporting us we prioritize a bit on what we support and how much time we want to spend every day on coding for the tool...
