Thanks anyway, please find attached the original BIOS as you requested from my Palit graphics card. Palit GeForce 9600 GSO 768MB Sonic Edition - Memory : 768MB - Bus Type PCI Express

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.3 software your feedback? - 2008/07/22 10:25Hi, will there be more support for mobile GeForce cards? I mean cards like the GeForce 8400M series, and how about NVS 135M support? It uses same core like the GeForce 8400 GS... At the moment I have HEX edited my notebook on board BIOS and extracted from it the graphics BIOS's for Quadro NVS 135M out of Dell D630 and GeForce 8400 GS from Dell XPS 1330. Maybe some one can help me, I want to exchange my Dell D630 Quadro cards BIOS to the GeForce 8400 GS BIOS, is that posible? I think they use same hardware, have same specification and GDDR3 memory. Only there is the BIOS size difference in bytes, don't know how to replace with new one!

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.3 software your feedback? - 2008/07/22 19:11Thank you for your excellent hard work, much appreciated! I've been trying to manipulate the BIOS in my ASUS notebook which uses the GeForce 9500M GS with 512MB DDR2 memory. I've tried NiBiTor v4.2 and v4.3, on Windows Vista Home 32-bit and Windows XP Pro SP3. Each time the program loads fine, and says my GPU is unknown and after that, when I go to load it into NiBiTor, it blue screens and reboots the system. Also, when I try to save the BIOS file for you, it locks up the system and I have to hard reset. I'm not a rich man, but $30$ is yours if you can get this working for me!

We can add the support in the next version of NiBiTor, but that can only be done if we have the BIOS's and the exact details of the cards. As long as we don't have that we don't add the support, or even we can't as we don't have a BIOS to work on not know the details to look at...

Well if you can get us a copy of the original BIOS than we can see to add the support to NiBiTor, and to do so I think you can use GPU-Z to make the backup and attach the BIOS on this thread so we can check it out.

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.3 software your feedback? - 2008/07/22 19:57Doh, I don't get it. With GPU-Z it says BIOS reading not supported on this device. So GPU-Z and NiBiTor crashes as I try to grab it to file, any other choices?

Sorry to say but that is what I expected somehow, cause most mobile graphics cards are not standalone meaning can't be replaced and than the graphics BIOS is embedded in the system BIOS and that is really hard to extract and twice as hard to update that back on the system BIOS with a tweaked version. You can always try with a bootable DOS media and nvFlash but I doubt that will work any better.

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.3 software your feedback? - 2008/07/22 20:52Thanks man. What a crap deal. I'm going to hound ASUS then I guess, to release a better BIOS with more features unlocked. Thanks for your help!

You bought what you wanted and how it is, so they won't risk to get into trouble with NVIDIA and neither related to their warranty they are giving. So the only thing you can do is just overclock and settle your mind, but don't expect miracles...

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.3 software your feedback? - 2008/07/23 00:00No problem to share BIOS's from Dell notebooks. But please have a look at them, are they correctly extracted from system BIOS? I'm using a Dell D630 with Quadro NVS 135M, it use G96M chip, 1.4ns Samsung 12MB of GDDR3 memory, specs are 400/800 and 600 memory 64bit, same specs like the GeForce 8400M GS. I edited Dell M1330 BIOS too, these Dell's have GeForce 8400M GS.
