Fixed my previous link to other thread, but here's the details anyway:
Cliffnotes: 1) NVFlash 4.42 will not work even with -p -u -f flags 2) NVFlash 5.13 will not work even with -4 -5 -6 -a -j flags 3) BIOS is compatible with card, but can't flash due to "Unsupported EEPROM" error 4) WFFlash also doesn't work
The above was attempted while using a PCI card with the Gainward AGP card plugged in; I'm not having problems with that.
I've tried the above. EEPROM shows up as (20,FF), no other valid info contained.
Anyone know of any way to either reset/restore the EEPROM or force a flash? (I've already tried "forcing" with NVFlash and WFFlash, but it's not made to force a write, just to ignore the checks ).
Physical chip is a 25P05 8-pin.
