GeForce 7800 GS AGP, and big device ID problem need help? - 2008/07/02 12:25
I have a GeForce 7800 GS AGP from XFX and the device ID has changed. Normally it's 00F5 but mine is 02E5. I need to change the NVIDIA install script "nv4_disp.inf" file to correct it, if I don't do it, it finds no good device during the installation. How is it possible? I tried to change the BIOS information with NiBiTor for comeback to 00F5 device ID but it seems there is some kind of protection, it makes the flash but the device ID doesn't change. Is there a solution?
