If they would want to, yes they would be able normally. But what is the annoying part is that most cards come with the original BIOS from NVIDIA and manufacturers first flash it with their own update BIOS just to show there name or brand, or version number extension or just a newer BIOS. So will it make sense to check it really not at all, unless when they get a card that has a complete screwed up BIOS...
