Re:EVGA e-GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB a bit of overclocking help? - 2008/06/28 10:54 Well I would like to add I was not refering to the Windows 9x style but the Windows 2000 really as that one is nice, clean, easy and straight foward and very fast. Well I would say if you are upgrading to go for Windows Vista, and if you are not go for Windows XP... And one thing don't just stick with AMD because you think you should. The Intel processors are much faster currently and very great for overclocking and giving more back in term of performance.

Re:EVGA e-GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB a bit of overclocking help? - 2008/06/28 11:23 I thought that was what you meant as a lot of business people and some home office friends I know swore by Windows 2000 as it was no nonsence, all business and again fast as hell. And in some cases faster than Windows XP. Some still using it, didn't need to be pretty. I got to liking the plug and play simplicity of Windows XP, now Vista even easier, once ya use it for a while and get it set up how you like.

Re:EVGA e-GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB a bit of overclocking help? - 2008/06/29 05:24 I thought the Windows 2000 GUI was the same as the Windows 9x one. I only used Windows 2000 a little bit, I guess I don't remember it well enough.

Yeah I think you don't cause the GUI is completely different and in fact the Windows 2000 GUI was really the first nice, easy and very stable one that was freaking fast. I can tell you it only went downwards since, and really I have Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista running so I can compare it very well...
