Re:GeForce 7x00 series BIOS's, and we want these, thank you!? - 2005/08/13 12:11 Hi all, this is my first post. Sorry I am a bit late as the GT threads are appearing. Please find attached the BIOS from my new build for my high end system. The cards were both supposed to be XFX GeForce 7800 GTX EE, but to my dismay only one of them was actually a EE and the other was a standard XFX GeForce 7800 GTX.

Never mind though, with the help of captain nvFlash they are both running the 05.70.02.11.17 BIOS ok at default values. The standard XFX BIOS is already on this site 05.70.02.11.11. So this completes the XFX range with the .17...

I haven't had a chance to have a proper play yet as they are going to be driven hard playing Battlefield 2 with a custom screen res of 2500x2000...

Well your BIOS is not late. Do you also still have the BIOS of your standard version? Cause basically we want all BIOS's ven if they are maybe already here... Yeps we do a complete HEX compare to be sure they are actually the same. But a big thanks for this GTX...

And to all others let the GeForce 7800 GTX and GT BIOS's roll in, we are really looking for some more to get some better support and stuff added into NiBiTor.

Re:GeForce 7x00 series BIOS's, and we want these, thank you!? - 2005/08/13 15:19 Thanks! It is completely the same as we had, but I rather do this then missing out on a BIOS. Thanks heaps!

Yeps they do... But I we want some GeForce 7800 GT based as well... So who is going to be the first to supply one?

Re:GeForce 7x00 series BIOS's, and we want these, thank you!? - 2005/08/16 16:44 Just got 2 GeForce 7800 GTX cards in my hands. They are the ASUS GeForce 7800 GTX Extreme, almost won't fit my DFI SLI-D motherboard. But is their BIOS interesting? Standard 3D boot 485/1370MHz. Because I don't use any floppy drive it's hard to make a backup, or just the stupidity from my person?

Re:GeForce 7x00 series BIOS's, and we want these, thank you!? - 2005/08/16 17:06 Well yeps a floppy is the best way to go or if you happen to have still a DOS partition on your HD you can use a bootable DOS CD-Rom and dump the BIOS to the DOS partition on the harddrive... It would be great to get these BIOS's... So can you check what you can do?

Going to buy a floppy drive! I need to make a backup so I can flash with a fine BIOS I found on Xtreme Systems, doing 1.5V and 500/1400MHz. Just waiting for my SLI phase changer to arrive. Will post that ASUS BIOS in a few days...

Okay, great! Get us the BIOS of each card so we can do a compare to make sure they are really the same. And before using that 500/1400MHz BIOS first overclock the cards and check the memory chips... Cause if they are only 1.6ns then it might not make the 1400MHz, unless it is 1.4ns.

Also you might want to check if someone has the ASUS GeForce 7800 GTX TOP version (Top Overclocking Performance)... As that one is clocked higher as well then the standard settings.
