Gigabyte GeForce 9600 GT TurboForce BIOS request, anyone? - 2008/06/06 13:55 Hi all, I am looking for a Gigabyte BIOS, namely for this graphics card the Gigabyte GeForce 9600 GT TurboForce edition (GV-NX96T512HP). I am looking for this BIOS because my machine is a file server running 24 hours and 7 days a week and I play just for 1-2 hours a day, so this BIOS should have in 2D less power consumption. Can any one help?

I am just wondering why you think this one would be consuming less power in 2D mode? Cause I don't really see that happening as these cards run at one level which is the Extra level and they just have a dynamic fan speed control. Though the TurboForce edition has no fan, as it is a passive cooled graphics card using heatpipe technology.

I tried to modify my ECS GeForce 9600 GT BIOS with no luc. That is why I search for this BIOS.

Re:Gigabyte GeForce 9600 GT TurboForce BIOS request, anyone? - 2008/06/07 11:38 Thanks for the update, though I am in doubt that if this is the case really that it will work on a standard GeForce 9600 GT, as from previous products when this was achieved Gigabyte used a different PCB and extra logic to get it done. Though you never know so, if someone could get us the BIOS so we can check that would be great. Also can you share with us your own ECS original BIOS? Thanks.

Thank you, I will surely check it out. And yes it would indeed be good if we could get the TurboForce BIOS, you never know that Gigabyte did something great which we could somehow replicate.
