NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.1 software your feedback? - 2008/05/28 19:14 Here we go, a new version is again available. We did get access to some extra GeForce 9 series BIOS's and with the help of xtremetheme we have a new update to support these new cards. A smaller release though very import for some GSO owners. Upcoming features or things you would like to see... Let us know and we will see what is possible and/or feasible.

If it should already, it's only allowing me to read in the BIOS of one of the cards. I tried to make a bootable CD with NTFS support and get both BIOS's that way, but it managed to corrupt the files. The card is from Zotac, which I don't think you have yet, so I was wanting to submit them.

Thanks for the feedback and this is a pending enhancement as it requires quite some extra coding to get both cards shown to dump the BIOS. Currently NiBiTor only shows the main controlling instance, but we are looking into this. On the BIOS backups, we really would like those, so we would advice a bootable USB memory media and using nvFlash. This is what I am also using as it is quite easy and flexible.

I'll see if I can pick up a memory stick somewhere tomorrow, there's no real reason not to have one considering how cheap they are nowadays. Good to hear that this feature is being worked on, if there's anything I can do regarding beta testing or even minor amounts of programming, let me know. By the way, I hope you don't mind my asking this here, but for nvFlash, does the "-i" option start at 0 or at 1? Thanks.

Related to the fan speed it is for the GeForce 9 series as whole, so not just the GeForce 9600 GT that we are working on. It is upcoming and we are still doing some testing and finding out some more stuff. But its should normally be upcoming for one of the next versions.
