Need a modded BIOS for FX5700LE - 2005/01/01 23:47 I have got a XFX GeForce FX5700 LE with 256MB DDR. I need a modded BIOS for my GFX card to increase its performance in 3D games. A volt modded or Latency modded is also a welcome. Also tell me if any other better manufacturers BIOS is available...

Re:Need a modded BIOS for FX5700LE - 2005/01/02 00:15 Well, the first thing you should do is to backup your BIOS and send it to us.
The instructions for doing that are below...
NVIDIA GeForce BIOS Backup Guide

And nvFlash v4.41 (usually the version used on FX5xxx cards) is available here...
nvFlash v4.41

You can just zip it and attach it to your next post...

Re:Need a modded BIOS for FX5700LE - 2005/01/06 17:36 Did you try just overclocking it first? There aren't any hidden vertex shaders or pipelines compared to a regular FX5700, so the only thing you could gain would be higher voltages. I tried to do a volt mod with NiBiTor, but there aren't any options. You would have to use a hex editor at that point.

First of all, can you overclock your card? Using RivaTuner or PowerStrip? And how far can you overclock? Then we might be able to mod the BIOS to support higher clock speeds on Core/Memory. Also check what kind of Memory is on the card... Cause with that we can check what the max speed is for the Memory. All that is needed to modify a BIOS so that it should run on your card. With should, I mean should as with all flashing there is always a risk involved.

Re:Need a modded BIOS for FX5700LE - 2005/01/07 18:22 I overclocked my GFX card core till 475MHz with PowerStrip and 425MHz with RivaTuner. I overclocked my VGA RAM till 477MHz (236MHz DDR). After that anything in RivaTuner was not accepted (because the driver test failed). By PowerStrip my RAM went till 488MHz (244MHz DDR). Above that I had to face reboots.

Re:Need a modded BIOS for FX5700LE - 2005/01/07 18:53 Well then what do you think? We modify the BIOS till 450MHz core and 476MHz memory? Or you if you want to jeep on using PowerStrip/RivaTuner to overclock that is fine as well...

Re:Need a modded BIOS for FX5700LE - 2005/01/09 08:46 My video ram is made of VDATA and has following written on it...
VDATA
VDD86168A-5B
H0434-E 37DA1220UQ

How tell me the ram type, timing and maximum overclock it can take?

Re:Need a modded BIOS for FX5700LE - 2005/01/09 08:49 No actually the overclocking the core doesn't help that much if the memory is not clocked high. Moreover I require a lower latency BIOS and a volt modded BIOS (separate) as well so that more overclock may be possible in case of memory.

Re:Need a modded BIOS for FX5700LE - 2005/01/19 08:59 Hey,you ppl don't respond to me! Tell me why! Anyways, I had asked for someone expert of you all to provide me a volt modded and quick memory timing BIOS for my FX5700LE 256MB made by XFX. Please help me.
