Re:GeForce 9600 GT, power supply with 12V rails give 32Amps? - 2008/05/08 19:52 I apologize, I am trying to do my best because I know nothing of english and I'm using the English translator of Google, so I can't help much on that. Well I can not oblige. The power supply is a Cooler Master eXtreme 500W.

Re:GeForce 9600 GT, power supply with 12V rails give 32Amps? - 2008/05/09 09:00 Internet translators are quite poor, but you don't get alot of choice unless you want to pay for someone to translate for you. Cooler Master doesn't make particularly good power supplies, and just like most manufacturers, they don't list the combined maximum power for the 12V rails. Perhaps you could provide a link to the store you intend to buy from so we can see what else they have for sale.

Okay, though maybe also try to use the one from Altavista and see if you can get though in learning some English. Now on the Cooler Master power supply, I have just checked the specs of this eXtreme 500W version. Now this one comes with its own PCI Express power cable so that is quite a big step forward and should be okay to power the GeForce 9600 GT. This one also has going from their table a dual 12V rail with each 16V, though the PCI Express connection is separate so I would go for this one as it should do the job just fine. Unless they also have the Cooler Master eXtreme Plus 500W which is just a bit better with higher Amps.

Re:GeForce 9600 GT, power supply with 12V rails give 32Amps? - 2008/05/09 19:11 Okay, thanks for your answer and your authorization, now I also can select a power supply of Compumay with 12V of 450W and says that it has 16Amps that me the gift a friend, says that it is done in the United States. Remember my friends I am from Venezuela is not than easy buy these things!

Re:GeForce 9600 GT, power supply with 12V rails give 32Amps? - 2008/05/10 09:37 Well I don't know the brand Compumay and frankly whatever you say is always the same being 12V rail with 16Amps, but that doesn't mean it has a dedicated PCI Express connection that will only power the graphics card and that is essential to get some success. So I would say once again I don't know the brand Compumay so I wouldn't really fo for it...
