GeForce 8800 GTS (G80) 640MB, and standard core voltage? - 2008/04/16 07:38 Hello, I finally broke down and signed up to the forums. I seem to be having trouble finding out what the default 3D voltage for the EVGA e-GeForce 8800 GTS (G80) 640MB graphics card is.

If anyone is running a stock GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB or 640MB and has a tool such as ATITool that can see voltages, I would be extremely applicative if you could take a peak for me.

Well like all the G80 based GeForce 8800 GTS card these all run at 1.3V and that is the highest core voltage that you can use on these from the BIOS. This is very easily seen in NiBiTor when you check your BIOS and you can also see it with RivaTuner in Windows. But take it from us, it is 1.3V for all these cards and we have tried every thing to increase it via the BIOS but that is not possible.

Excellent, and you are welcome. And yes we know, not too much possible but yeah that is how it is and will also be for any upcoming graphics cards as NVIDIA somehow needs to limit the overclocking to avoid too much returns...
