Re:Who is owning a GeForce 8800 GT, and ready for tweaking? - 2008/08/25 02:58 Here is my stock BIOS. I am curious what your tweak is. I haven't had the card but two months now, and want to modify the BIOS if it will improve my performance a bit. I know this thread is old, but thought I would post anyways. The stock TimingSet is 3, current stable clocks are 700/2000MHz with the shaders at 1730MHz. And little unstable at 735/2000MHz with 1850MHz shaders, but is benchable in 3DMarks.

Re:Who is owning a GeForce 8800 GT, and ready for tweaking? - 2008/08/25 10:25 Euh mate, this thread is all about it and it is already quite old and what can be tweaked is already available through the use of NiBiTor. So you will just have to do the tweaking yourself as all have done since we tried and proven it works. But the main thing is that the core voltage can be slightly increased and that is so easy with NiBiTor that you can just do it yourself.

Re:Who is owning a GeForce 8800 GT, and ready for tweaking? - 2008/08/25 10:54 So, what's the tweak or is there anything else? Bumping the voltage to 1.1V? Does it go any higher than that without a voltage modification?

Re:Who is owning a GeForce 8800 GT, and ready for tweaking? - 2008/08/25 11:16 That is one of the tweaks and the memory timings you can try as well but by now everyone knows how to work with the TimingSet and how to decrease or increase timings to get faster acting memory or getting higher overclocking. And yes the 0.05V voltage extra was a tweak which we enabled via NiBiTor and which was not confirmed at the time to work but it did. So try it out and see what it does for your card...
