NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v3.9 software your feedback? - 2008/03/18 21:49 Here we go, a new version is again available. We did get access to the high-range GeForce 9 series BIOS's and with the help of xtremetheme we have a new update to support these and some fixes. As well as the extra support for mobile version of the GeForce 8800 series. Upcoming features or things you would like to see... Let us know and we will see what is possible and/or feasible.

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v3.9 software your feedback? - 2008/03/18 23:30 Just one thing, to backup the BIOS's, and yes I mean BIOS's as there are two BIOS's on the GeForce 9800 GX2 at the moment it is best to use nvFlash, and take the latest version to make a backup of the BIOS of each PCB.

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v3.9 software your feedback? - 2008/03/19 12:41 It doesn't support my GeForce 8800M GTX, which comes with BIOS version 62.92.23.00.14. The right frequencies are 500MHz core, 1600MHz memory and 1250MHz shader clock speed. But in the program these are completely wrong.

The settings I would expect to show up under the 3D settings show up in a 4th level listed as Extra. Why is this? If I wanted to overclock and increase my 3D settings, would I change the 3D settings, Extra settings, or both? Thanks.

Well with some luck next week when the GeForce 9800 GTX will be released as will then hopefully have such a BIOS and will need to add the support and at the same time we would add the support for the GeForce 8800M GTX.

Well the Extra mode is the mode that will be really uysed in full 3D mode on all G9x based graphics cards. So on that part just tweak the Extra mode and see what it gives, I wouldn't change anything else.

I have an EVGA e-GeForce 9800 GX2 and the first BIOS has a very odd size of 130kb taken with nvFlash v2.53 and the second BIOS is 58kb... The second BIOS is editable with NiBiTor v3.9 an I also flashed with the overclock but the first BIOS isn't. Any suggestions, Thanks.
