Re:GeForce 7x00 series BIOS's, and we want these, thank you!? - 2006/05/04 11:50 Here is a 7800 GS CO (256-A8-N506-AX) BIOS that was shipped with my card. I recieved this card as a RMA because of black screen/sound looping problems I've been having. I installed coolbits 2.0 to verify clock speeds and noticed the stock speeds were set at 490, 1400!!! The only problems I noticed were artifacts in call of duty 2, splinter cell:chaos theory, 3DMark 05 and 06. I'm RMA'ing the card because its supposed to be a N509 (EVGA's mistake). I hope yall can use this, I know alot of people have problems with this card and I have not had one blackscreen or sound looping issue whatsoever with this BIOS, just artifacting. PLEASE let me know if there is some solution to the artifacting. My fan is working on the card, I have the latest drivers installed as well (84.56). THe BIOS number is 05.70.02.33.0A. ENJOY!!!

It has been released by EVGA to solve the problems that many have. Some people are getting good results with it, for others the problem remains. This was sent to me from other forum member to me.

But normally this should work just fine if you zip up the BIOS and give it a unique name. But in anyway you may always email it as well that way I can then check it and add it to the archive.
