MSI GeForce 6200 AGP, any possible way of tweaks doable? - 2008/01/08 02:45 Hi, I just bought an AGP card, the MSI GeForce 6200 with 256MB memory. It's a cheap card and I know I can't tweak it to a GeForce 6600, but maybe you can help me unblock some hidden features, to improve performance or stability. I opened the BIOS file with NiBiTor v3.7, but I don't know what to do, maybe you could help me? Thank you. At least this BIOS might help you to increase your database.

Re:MSI GeForce 6200 AGP, any possible way of tweaks doable? - 2008/01/08 09:12 Well the only thing normally feasible with the GeForce 6200 is that you can overclock it, but to do so you should first use software to try it out and see how far it can go. Now what I would do is use RivaTuner and see how far to overclock the core and memory. And you can also try maybe if you can't unlock extra pipes, although we haven't seen a lot of that being possible...

I've installed the RivaTuner v2.06, but it doesn't support the ForceWare 169.21 drivers yet. This software says 4pp, are those the pipelines? Where is the pipelines part in the NiBiTor v3.7? I could change the amount of active performance levels, but the integrity becomes yellow. Thank you very much for your support!

Your card is NV44A which has only 4 pipes and no extra pipes to unlock. You can overclock to the max if you want to, and that is the only thing possible.

Thanks mate, I was thinking the same actually but was no longer sure this was the case. Good that I was not wrong, although wasn't confident to write it down. But indeed it is as I thought no pipes to unlock, and only overclocking can be done with this one.
