Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v3.7 software your feedback? - 2008/02/08 20:12 Well that is not something known, and we are really wondering what you have changed as we use NiBiTor a lot with the GeForce 8800 GTS and GT, both based on the G92 and didn't have any issues. Though since you tried something with the voltages on the GTS, which is already set at the highest voltage can you explain what you did exactly as we think you have done something which is not valid at all...

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v3.7 software your feedback? - 2008/02/08 22:12 I'm sorry, my description was not 100%... I want to try to change the amount of active performance levels and if I do this I get the error. I have a original BIOS which has only one selected state, the Extra. Since my graphics card doesn't like to change to a lower level mode I tought I simply change the amount of performance levels to two, use the values of Extra in 3D and type in my 2D values. Now I saved the BIOS and I close NiBiTor. I reopen NiBiTor, load my modded BIOS and click into voltages and get the error. Thanks for taking a look at this...

Well it is rather simple, don't do that with a G92 based BIOS as that BIOS doesn't work as the older BIOS with a 3D, Thrtl and 2D state. Only the Extra is applicable, and that is also why I removed your BIOS files as if someone would flash your modified BIOS it would just screw up the graphics card. This is no bug or whatever of NiBiTor, you are just trtying something that is not valid for the G92 based BIOS's... And if you want other things open a new thread as this is really not related to NiBiTor as a program but related to what is or isn't feasible with BIOS's depending on the graphics card.
