Re:Radeon HD 3x00 Series BIOS's... We want them, thank you!? - 2007/12/02 01:48 Okay, I attatched my PowerColor Radeon HD 3850 512MB BIOS, it is clocked at 720/1800MHz. Will you guys try make this unlocked like they did for the Radeon HD 3870? Cause this chip just won't go higher then 790MHz, and the core is staying very cool so it has to be locked or something in the BIOS right?

Re:Radeon HD 3x00 Series BIOS's... We want them, thank you!? - 2007/12/13 09:17 This is the bios from an GeCube Radeon HD 3870 OC edition, meaning the X-Turbo III version. Default frequencies are 800MHz for the GPU and 2440MHz for the memory. Also the cooler seems to be programmed to target 70°C as working temperature. That means the fan will throttle up sooner to keep temperature down. This is good for overclocking and bad for your ears.
