EVGA e-GeForce 8800 GT 512MB SC edition and overclocking? - 2007/12/22 11:05 Just got my card and all plugged in. What is the fastest and safest way of auto overclock? CoolBits? Thought of using RivaTuner, but it doesn't have a test feature, so what do I use?

And why do you want to auto overclock? What should be used is the latest beta of ATITool which has to function to overclock the card in a stepped mode while you can check if you spot artifacts. This function is available for the core and memory and by doing so you can find the best clocks just before artifacting and then you clock it down an exatr 10-20MHz to be safe.
