XFX GeForce 8600 GT Fata1ty, Overclocking Not Work?!? - 2007/11/18 16:44 I Buy a XFX GeForce 8600 GT Fatal1ty and Test This Card with 3DMark 2005.after test completed 3DMark Score Is about 7500 but when I overclock this card with RivaTuner v2.06 (CoreClock from 620MHz to 770MHz & MemoryClock from 1700 to 1800mhz) & Test it again with 3DMark 2005 Score don't changing. Why? My System: M.B Asus p5ad2-e Cpu: Intel 3.0E Ram:4x512 A-data H.D.D Maxtor 160gb Power: 500w I test my card in core2 Duo System & 3dmark score show higher about (10021) But when overclocked this mark 3dmark score not change! i think this card limited

No offense but Intel P4's really ain't got much processing power. And how much of an overclock are you putting on your card. If you are only doing a slight overclock like 5-10MHz then chances are it isn't gonna be enough to notice.

First of all, if you come to our forums and your are not able to write a decent post because you English is not good I can understand, but how you posted initially I don't want to see twice. You write normal sentences are you go and screw around somewhere else. Secondly your CPU itself might indeed be the bottleneck of your system and overfclocking yoru video card becomes then useless...
