ASUS Striker Extreme mainboard and memory voltage error? - 2007/11/10 16:22 Hi, I keep getting DET DRAM error on my motherboard, and ASUS Striker Extreme LCD, can it be that my memory isn't getting enough voltage. Is it okay if I change ram voltage from 1.87V to 2.0V? And what is the normal voltage for memory? I have Corsair TWIN2X 1024-6400 CL3 800MHz and TWIN2X 512-6400 CL4 800MHz memory...

Re:ASUS Striker Extreme mainboard and memory voltage error? - 2007/11/11 08:51 Well I have checked a bit the Corsair memory specifications and the DDR2 generally needs about 1.9V to 2.1V, so what you mainboard is giving is a bit too less. And secondly as I believe you have filled all four slots you better raise the voltage a bit as it dropping a bit when using all four slots. So normally I put the memory at least at 2.0V, and even at 2.1V when needed. This will add stability to the system as well.
