Radeon X1950 XT, and lower memory timings and adjusting?! - 2007/10/20 12:57 Hi, I`ve been trying to lower my memory timings with RaBiT, and it works, but when I set ATI Tray Tools to 3D mode it relaxes the timings. So I was wondering if this is done by ATI Tray Rools or if it is in the video cards Overdrive profile. Is it a way to permanently set the timings for 3D mode? I am using a Radeon X1950 XT graphics card.

Re:Radeon X1950 XT, and lower memory timings and adjusting?! - 2007/10/22 11:25 Well as far as I know this is somehow controlled with the Overdrive feature so you might need to change a bit more then what you currently have done in the BIOS. However I can't validate myself as I have no Radeon X1950 series anymore laying around...

Re:Radeon X1950 XT, and lower memory timings and adjusting?! - 2007/10/22 18:33 Okay thank you. I was wondering why this feature was implemented if it only works for 2D mode, you don't need any tweaks in 2D mode, I've checked and all the memory timings are relaxed when I overclock, and I don't think that there is any way to change them?

Re:Radeon X1950 XT, and lower memory timings and adjusting?! - 2007/11/12 12:26 Okay, well then this is something that should be checked and also brought forward to the coder of RaBiT. However that will have to wait a bit as the main priority is getting RaBiT ready for the Radeon HD 2x00 series.
