Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v3.5 Software Feedback... - 2007/09/06 08:12
None of the TimingSets will loosen the memory timings. The way it works is as such, each BIOS will contain a set of TimingSets linked to the different memory modules that can be used on the PCB, meaning different brands and types. So if your card is using TimingSet 2, then you need to change the values of that TimingSet to change the actual memory timings. Just go for the detailed view and change with small steps.
Next to that your comment on the vendor, well will have a look but if EVGA doesn't have their own vendor ID then there is nothing we can do about it. Cause if a brand would like a vendor ID, then they need to request that to an international instance to allocate one, and that comes at a price. If you want to talk more about it then create you own thread, as this is not linked to any feedback on NiBiTor as such. Thanks.
