Sapphire Radeon X1650 (RV530), some BIOS help wanted? - 2007/08/30 04:47 Okay now... I just got this card and have been looking up alot about this card. I read that this card is actually a Radeon X1650 PRO and that I can flash this card with the Sapphire Radeon X1650 PRO BIOS for speed increase. Problem is I can't find that BIOS anywhere. All help is appreciated.

Re:Sapphire Radeon X1650 (RV530), some BIOS help wanted? - 2007/08/30 11:50 Sorry, but I don't get what you want or what you really need. Which card do you have exactly and what do you want do? Cause you only take about getting a Radeon X1650 PRO BIOS, but nothing on what card you got and why you think you can flash it with another BIOS? If you want us to help, you need to get us all the information so we can actually start helping.

Re:Sapphire Radeon X1650 (RV530), some BIOS help wanted? - 2007/08/30 18:49 I have the Sapphire Radeon X1650 512MB 128-bit DDR2 and with AGP interface... Now, this card is an underclocked Sapphire Radeon X1650 PRO which means I can flash my card with the BIOS of the Radeon X1650 PRO to get a speed increase and be able to overclock up to 700MHz and even higher with better cooling... Now what I'm asking is do you know where I can find the Sapphire Radeon X1650 PRO BIOS? Both card are AGP... I hope that helped.

Re:Sapphire Radeon X1650 (RV530), some BIOS help wanted? - 2007/08/30 19:02 Well currently I can't help as nobody has yet shared the BIOS as far as I have seen... So the best way is to either make a new post with really making the request for this BIOS so everyone sees that and with out the mambo jumbo explanation, but just plain and simple what you are looking for.

Re:Sapphire Radeon X1650 (RV530), some BIOS help wanted? - 2007/08/30 19:27 Ah okay, thanks for the update and checking. I will make a new post to directly request and we will take it from there. Thanks!

Okay, good and let's hope someone will react soon on the request so you can try out what you want. By the way how far can you currently overclock your Sapphire Radeon X1650 with the default BIOS? And can you share with us you own original BIOS? Thanks!

Re:Sapphire Radeon X1650 (RV530), some BIOS help wanted? - 2007/09/01 06:55 I was only able to push the overclocking up to 550/900MHz but its not really stable... I will get the BIOS as soon as possible.

Okay, good. But you do know that the Radeon X1650 PRO is clocked at 590-600MHz on the core? And the memory remains the same for the DD2 version of the PRO. So it might be that even with the PRO BIOS you won't be able to run your card that high. But yes, get us your original BIOS so we can already look into that one.

Re:Sapphire Radeon X1650 (RV530), some BIOS help wanted? - 2007/11/27 00:25 Hey, I have a similar card to that of the author of the topic, but mine is a Sapphire Radeon X1650 256MB DDR2 AGP with clocks at 590/800MHz. I was wondering if I could use this PRO BIOS, running at 600/700MHz or should I look for other ones? Would it make a difference performance wise?

Re:Sapphire Radeon X1650 (RV530), some BIOS help wanted? - 2007/11/27 18:23 If your current Sapphire Radeon X1650 can't do 600MHz core when overclocked via software then I wouldn't try it. Secondly I haven't really seen anyone who has really successfully flashed a Radeon X1650 to the PRO version...
