Sapphire Radeon X800 GT, a modification for 16 pipelines? - 2007/08/23 02:08 I have a Sapphire Radeon X800 GT PCI Express (R423) with 128MB and I modified this card to GTO and I unlocked pipelines and I have 12 now. Can I connect others 2 pin to unlock 16 pipelines? Maybe on card with blue PCB and R423 I don't have any chance to do modification to 16 pipelines... And sorry about my English.

Re:Sapphire Radeon X800 GT, a modification for 16 pipelines? - 2007/08/23 09:23 Well as far as I am aware the GT can be taken often to the GTO level but not beyond. The main thing is that the R423 chips used on the GT didn't actually pass the test of ATI for a GTO, which means they have some issues with certain pipelines being damaged. So getting it from 8 to 16 pipelines would be asking a bit too much.
