The problem on Vista is the new driver signing forced by microsoft, and that is why all the other overclock tools don't work neither. There is a way to disable driver signing permanently which is told by people to be able to use these tools.
I have found the easiest way to run NiBiTor on Windows Vista without any problems! It is working 100%. You have to right click on ".exe" file and click properties. Then you got to compatibility and choose compatybility mode Windows XP SP2 and then click apply. This is working 100%...

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v3.4a Software Feedback... - 2007/08/21 02:06 Is there any chance that the default monitor timings could be modified? I'm trying to link my arcade monitor up to the graphics card and the arcade monitor doesn't have DDE timings. Most arcade monitors require a horizontal frequency between 15-31khz. Different resolutions have different frequencies but that can be tackled once the computer has actually booted up using PowerStrip. What I really need is the ability to change the default horizontal and vertical frequencies before Windows has loaded. Is there any chance of adding the feature into the next build?

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v3.4a Software Feedback... - 2007/09/02 11:06 Well we didn't get the time to check this out, but we will put it on our list to check. So maybe in an upcoming version if it is possible via the BIOS, which is doubtfull. We will have a look though...

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v3.4a Software Feedback... - 2007/09/03 22:36 I used NiBiTor a lot when I was running a GeForce 7950 GT in the past. Mainly to store lower 2D clocks and greater 3D clocks, lower 2D voltage and greater 3D voltage, fan speed settings. Never found a bug or something to complain about, and used lot of time for editing BIOS's and I never got a fault flash. I just switched to an AMD Radeon HD 2900 XT and I hope to test that fresh NiBiTor too, to store 2D/3D settings and to edit better voltage and fan settings than the stock ones. Just to show some thanks to who code this stuff for free. Thank you all...

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v3.4a Software Feedback... - 2007/09/04 08:16 Thanks for your feedback mate, if more would do that and well just donate something to the coders to reward them for the hard work then they would be pleased a bit more. But that doesn't seem to come very natural... And to make it clear, if I like something that is good, I generally see if a small donation can be done, cause if all would do that then it makes a huge difference.
