Windows XP Pro, installation issues for fresh install... - 2007/07/13 14:09 Hello, as I got my computer running at least the hardware and I did run into the following problem. I had Windows XP installed on my raid and Vista on an IDE drive. Now I can boot up Windows XP, but even after formatting my IDE drive I am not able to install XP on that drive and I really want a clean install. When I try to install Windows XP it asks for files, which are not located on my disc. I already went to a mate to rent his CD and I get the same errors.

How come, as I installed Windows XP from my disk a couple of months back? When I try to install Windows Vista I get a 0x0000007b bluescreen which means error with raid. When I boot the Windows XP CD it does not even show up the raid drives, says no disk inserted or something like that... Any ideas? The raid is showing up in BIOS, and I am writing this post on Windows XP running from the raid, so discs and raid is working properly. I did not need any 3rd party drivers for the setup last time!

Re:Windows XP Pro, installation issues for fresh install... - 2007/07/22 21:14 During installing Windows XP, have you used the floppy disk with the SATA raid drivers? If yes and you still have problems have you tried to revert the raid to default?
