Are you nuts? I don't even want to know why you even tried that... Neither do I feel like spending any time to solve it. I am sorry but if you are this crazy then I honestly feel that you can just search a bit longer so you understand that what you have done is completely out of this world.

Re:Flashed GeForce 6200, with wrong BIOS gave blank screen! - 2007/05/30 16:59 Sorry, but this is just too much to handle... How the hell did anyone get such an idea? Sorry I just don't get it! Too funny, and too strange...

Re:Flashed GeForce 6200, with wrong BIOS gave blank screen! - 2007/05/30 17:59 Do you make a backup before flashing? If you do, you might still be able to revive the card. Find a PCI video card to boot up the PC and then reflash your GeForce 6200 card. If you did not make a backup, download a copy that matches your card from the download area and try reflashing it again. So, a PCI video card is only to help you read what you need to type. If you unable to find one, you need to try blind flashing or make a bootable floppy that will automatically flash your GeForce 6200.

Re:Flashed GeForce 6200, with wrong BIOS gave blank screen! - 2007/05/30 18:31 Well that should work, but I have a feeling it could still go wrong as their is quite a bit of too much changes from flashing a GeForce 6200 with a GeForce 8800 series BIOS... And if the identification of the EEPROM is going wrong then it will be very hard to reflash and get the card working.

Re:Flashed GeForce 6200, with wrong BIOS gave blank screen! - 2007/05/31 07:38 I am sorry, but this is the zodiak's idea. What is the bootable floppy that will automatically flash the BIOS?

Well you make a bootable DOS floppy, you put nvFlash v5.38 on it with yoru original BIOS and then you add the flash commands on the "autoexec.bat" file.

nvFlash v5.xx Commands...
"nvflash -4 -5 -6 -A -y 6200bios.rom" (Automatic BIOS Flash)

Re:Flashed GeForce 6200, with wrong BIOS gave blank screen! - 2007/05/31 19:39 Within Windows just format a floppy disk with boot options... And highlight the startup boot disk option. Then all will be on the floppy and you can then change afterwards what is on the floppy to get it auto flashed.

Re:Flashed GeForce 6200, with wrong BIOS gave blank screen! - 2007/05/31 21:17 You can follow these steps... First make a bootable disk using Windows explorer, just right click on floppy and choose format, tick create an MsDOS startup disk. Secondly you extract the full nvFlash package to the floppy and your backup BIOS into the new bootable disk. And last you edit "autoexec.bat" on the newly bootable disk to add the above line stated by Mavke and save it. Hope this helps.

Re:Flashed GeForce 6200, with wrong BIOS gave blank screen! - 2007/05/31 21:46 Thank you. But the system don't boot with AGP card and is blocked and nothing is working.
