Re:GeForce 8x00 series BIOS's, and we want these, thank you!? - 2006/12/11 23:44 This is this very first firmware update I've seen from BFG so far on their GeForce 8800 GTX cards. Their initial release firmware version was 60.80.06.00.01 but this new batch just came in yesterday to our shop as version 60.80.07.00.03. This firmware is from their Water Cooled Edition of the card, which I point out specifically because there might be a minor difference (i.e. it might know the fan is not spinning). So if you have the regular GeForce 8800 GTX, I'd be very interested to know if this firmware stops your cooling fan from working right!

For some weird reason though under NiBiTor v3.1 the vendor is reported as NVIDIA... So its possible the BIOS on the card is your refrence NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX BIOS as in untouched by the XpertVision company.
