using thermal paste for video ram? - 2006/11/30 10:48 hay after a lil bit of googling with not much sucess(not to streight foward answers) i was gonna get other knowledge on it.. would it be alright use Thermal greese or Arctic silver between my ram heatsink and ram on my video card ?? i read on one site it wasn't such a good idea btu then again ppl are wrong at times. any help on this subject would be much appriciated.

Re:using thermal paste for video ram? - 2006/11/30 11:38 i tryd this at my 7900gx2 but the space between the bga and the ram coolers was too much so i leave the original thermalpads on it , but its working , and it brings some °C , i made that with the gpu of the 7900gx2 and used liquid metal pro , i made a thread about it and i gain 15mhz more that i can overlock the gpu withhout artifacts
