Safe voltage for Samsung GDDR3 1.4ns rated memory... - 2006/11/18 07:05 I am wondering what's a good safe voltage for Samsung GDDR3 memory (K4J52324QC-BC14) rated at 1.4ns. I know its 1400MHz (effective) memory, currently it is at 2.07V and I would like to voltage mod em so I can squeeze a little more out of these. My current overclock is 1626MHz and I can go higher but it doesn't make much difference after 1450MHz...

Re:Safe voltage for Samsung GDDR3 1.4ns rated memory... - 2006/11/18 12:57 Well I just checked the Samsung site for the specifications of those memory chips and the BC suffix is default set for 1.8V operation. So in your case if they already are set at above that I wouldn't really go over 2.1-2.2V... And since these Samsung 1.4ns aren't that good as the Infineon version, be careful...
