Overclocking, flashing a Radeon 9250...possible? - 2006/11/09 02:58
Hi guys, I'm new here, but I'm a knowledgeable person when it comes to hardware components. But I've recently heard about something called overclocking or flashing a video card. I've got the basic info of what they both do thanks to a 5-page report on Wikipedia, but can someone help me exploit how you do this? What exactly you download, enter and change to actually do it and how to do this for an ATI Radeon 9250 256MB on PCI bus? Thanks for any replies.
My Radeon 9250 does not have a fan, only a heatsink, and have heard overclocking heats up components, so I have a few universal 80-mm fans that I can crudely attach to them if needed.
