Re:Trying to get stable 2.6+ ghz - 2006/08/07 05:57 actully this board has TONS! of settings. wich is prolly the problem. i was used to my simple old socket A asus a7v880. now days i have nop clue what half the settings do um i found something wierd though, my bios reads an idle temp of 40c but i noticed everest reads 10c cooler then my bios. wich is retarded casue everst is supposed to read the stuff from ur bios. ahh hec it's stupid well i think i will re-thermal paste it and see if that brings down the temps. just started running 3dmark05 and on the last sceen it just froze as if it were a heat issue.. about 10se4c later i was in bios and it was reading 47c so im thinking maybe temps are an issue. today it was HOT about 97F anyway like i said i'll re-thermal paste it and see hwo that goes. thank every 1 for there help. much appriciated i'll keep ya guys posted
