Re:Trying to get stable 2.6+ ghz - 2006/08/06 04:19
ok here are tips for you . firstly keep the Htt at round 800 - 1000 ( Ldt multiplier ) how to get htt freqs is simple take Fsb x by ldt = htt ( set the Ldt multi at 3 for now ) . also give your chipset volts 1.9 is best if you got good cooling , but 1.8 would be ok . give your memory Volts as well 2.8 - 2.9 is safe setting as most ram can handle this amount . on cpu voltage set it at 1.4 ( LEAVE IT AT THIS FOR Now ) then set your memory to 2.5,3,3,7 then up your fsb by 3 reboot load windows run super pi @ 1 million if it completes reboot enter bios up fsb by 3 again ( every 12 freqs you up on fsb run super pi @ 4 million and run 3dmark 05 and 06 complete ) do this until super pi no longer completes ( giving you an error ) if error back clocks off by 3 .... CHECK YOUR TEMPS CONSTANTLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if above 50 full load STOP !!!!!!!!!!!!
