Best cooler for 6800U? - 2006/09/22 21:25 Just thought maybe some one has owned both of them.. i wanna get the best aftermarket cooler for my card..... now im currently usings a nv silencer rev3 and it pretty decent.. but recently i installed a Zalman vf700 on my friends 7900gt AND the temps were crazy good.... anyway does any one know wich is a better cooler ? ? ? thanks

Re:Best cooler for 6800U? - 2006/09/23 01:19 Well, on my 6800GS, I use to have the vf-700cu, but changed for a NV silencer 5 rev3, and it was much better, and it throw all the heat outside... If you have a big fan in front of your pc, this is the best... Instead, you could use a vf-900cu... I use these on my SLI 7600GT

Re:Best cooler for 6800U? - 2006/09/25 15:59 when i had my 6800gt i also wondered which cooler was better. in the end i went for the silencer, mostly because i dont have very good case cooling and it was cheap. but from reviews it seems the zalman vf-900 is the best
