Mushkin Redline XP4000 2GB on DFI LANParty... - 2006/08/31 14:10 I have success with FSB 255MHz (x12) but failed at FSB 260MHz (x12) with 3DMark06. Anyone...please suggest how I can reach FSB 260MHz (x12). The CPU is running at 3.12GHz… Thanks!

So you are trying to overclock and really there much depend on the mainboard itself. You will need to boost the voltage for the memory, but there is no guarantee it will work. And you will need to relax the timings.

The reason why I ask you to do this test, is that maybe your computer won't boot and you will need to clear CMOS. This will say that the ram can't go further with the timings, or the voltage. It's like my HyperX 3-3-3-8 500mhz. I can't go higher than 520mhz.

then after, you will have to try to run the ram faster, but without the cpu full speed, so you're sure that the CPU is not blocking...

DDR554 , higher is possible too , but i think that shows enough how high the Redline can go

so not your ram is the prob , try to raise the voltage from the ddr , not much , like to 2,85 and look then , if that not works , try 2,9
