Lifetime warranty, but pay for it - 2006/08/22 17:09
I'm the owner of 2 EVGA 7600GT KO. The first I had, died when I tried to put in SLI.
EVGA have a lifetime warranty, but in their warranty, it's all mixtup. They say that due to restriction, Pre-paid ARS Label cannot be supplied for Canadian Shipments.
Ok go to step: RMA pre-paid label (if supplied).
I had that, but you know what? They charge me 29$ for handling, plus I had to pay import duties, for sending and receiving plus any local shipment. But at the end, for a card that I bought 240$ CAN, it cost me 60$ for receiving the new card and sending the defect one. So 4 times I send a card, it will cost me a new card... this ****!!! lol. For sure, you have a very good warranty, but for Canadian, I think this warranty isn't the best....

Yea, I hop so lol. I bought it from my friend's shop, but on EVGA box, it says: Please, if you have any difficulties with the product, send it back to EVGA.
Well, for the warranty, RMA it one times, it's alright, but if I have to send another one, be sure that I will ask to have a better card, or I'm getting the card, and vmod it till the extreme lol (1.8v lolol). Too bad that this card can't be volt modded by the bios.
Well, maybe I won't stop buying EVGA product, but maybe too, I'll take Asus product, since my friend can send it from is company to their supplier, without any problem

yes ,it took a long time to get a board from asus, got video card 2 wks before, from evga, sent same day. and if within store warranty period usually 90 days ,and can sometimes buy extended warranty at store for 1 yr, don,t cost nothing, so usually this way get defect card out of the way before warranty expire, as with my 7900 gtx that artifact, cost nothing to ship, i see guys buying card from strange etailer not allways get what they pay for! some friend ,he should take shipping defect card for at least 90 days, memory express does ,he probably have coverage with supplier?
