What about availability of Intel Core 2 Duo processors? - 2006/08/18 18:25 Sorry guys for my new post but I've decide to upgrade to a Intel Core 2 Duo but although it's been a month or so from the launch of Core 2 Duo, I can't find here in Greece not a single one of them. I can find motherboards from ASUS and Gigabyte with prices of about €165-250. Than memory DDR2-800 from OCZ, SuperTalent, Corsair, Kingston going for €130-290. But Core 2 Duo not a single one. Please I want to know what about the rest of Europe. Can you find the Intel Core 2 Duo processors?

Re:What about availability of Intel Core 2 Duo processors? - 2006/08/18 18:29 Well I gotten my Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 (1.86GHz) since 2 weeks now and no I didn't get special favors as I went out and bought it myself. Yeah I needed to finally upgrade my system. In Belgium you can find the Core 2 Duo in most shops but limited quantity. But I saw that the E6300 and E6400 are easily in stock. Yeah, I am waiting for the Core 2 Extreme X6800 myself, no stock of that one though...
