OK These are good drivers But I still have an Issue as with all the Past drivers from 67.66 upwards.
In the old driver sets, WMV Acceleration was working on My 6600 256MB AGP But H.264 was not or not Implemented in them at that time, then they brought the 84.?? Drivers out which supported H.264 but it was Crap and a waste of time.
These Drivers Have H.264 Hardware Acceleration and It works perfect, although still a bit high on CPU Usage though but that is to be expected for HD-Video at High resolution, But There is No WMV-HD Acceleration at all with these new drivers and has not been in there since the 67.xx series of drivers.
Why won't they Bring it back and Have the best of both worlds with H.264 and WMV-HD Acceleration, I Know that people were/are having problems with WMV-HD but a lot of people had it working just fine and now it is not, What's the deal with that, I thought they would at least keep the WMV-HD Code in there.
With the 67.xx Drivers I can Play the PureVideo 1080-720 and it only uses about 20-30% CPU Usage now with these newer driver sets it is at full tilt on 90-100%.
I Have tried just about all the driver Sets from 67.xx Upwards and the only ones that work properly for me and others with WMV-HD are the 67.xx series.
anyone got any Ideas on this.
