I've ran some tests yesterday with the PE frequencies with 1.42V and it works. So I decided to change only the VCore at the XT PE BIOS for my Radeon X1800 XT. I was a little bit scary about the timings, but when I saved the BIOS, the timings are the same. So no bug with my card/system. The switch from 2D to 3D works too. So I've got a partial success.
