Radeon BIOS Tuner (RaBiT) v2.0a Feedback... - 2006/04/05 10:06 Well yes, a new version is again available. This is actually a quick fix version due to some minor bug reported and that we found that it should get fixed rather urgently. Thanks goes to Jaz for the new update so you can enjoy again this wondeful tool..

With one of my PC's I started RaBiT (v2.0 or v2.0a) and when you go then to the Logging Tab I get in there the following...

!There are problems with the driver RaBiT.sys!

Does anyone have this as well or is this just one PC that seems acting a bit strange while using RaBiT? Can you let me know as then we can investigate this...

I had that similar issue but when I reload the BIOS it doesn't pop up...

I am using Windows XP Pro 64-bit and a Sapphire Radeon X700 128MB AGP graphics card...

Okay, just so you know, RaBiT is not yet 64-bit ready and so it is normal that you will get that error in Windows XP Pro 64-bit versions... I actually got it on one system that has Windows XP Pro 32-bit and no ATI graphics card.

For example RAS to CAS read delay was read out with the value 1, which doesn't appear real to me. I read out the timings of my Radeon X1800 GTO, and tried an XL BIOS with the same result

Here is a comparison between RaBiT v2.0a and RivaTuner 2.0 RC16... ABout the timings that they both report on the BIOS in question.

I hope you are able to find the problem and fix it. Greetings from Germany. So far great work... Perhaps you can add vDD support for the Radeon X1K series, if it is possible to change the voltages per software it should be possible per BIOS too? Let me know if not...

Re:RaBiT v2.0a Feedback... - 2006/05/26 05:43 Well I do believe RivaTuner is reading correctly the latencies. However I don't see how to edit in the BIOS the OverDrive settings... All the the options are grey. Somehow I believe the limitation in the OverDrive setting in the CCC are BIOS locked.
