Re:GeForce 7900 BIOS's... We want em... - 2006/07/09 04:22 This is the Original BIOS from one of my sons Chaintech GeForce 7900 GTX (GAE79GTX) cards. Coming with 512MB framebuffer, clocked at 650MHz core and 1600MHz memory. Funny thing with this, was getting the usual GeForce 7900 GTX problems that are so common, I just flashed it to the XFX GeForce 7900 GTX Extreme which I got from this site and it seems to have cured the problems. Thank you for a very informative forum and the opportunity to join.

Normally you ere best to zip up the BIOS and give it a more unique name and then you use the attach a file option on the forums. I will be looking forward to receiving your BIOS. And to all others please do the same as we are still looking for more of these BIOS's.

Please let me know if you don't get it. I also uploaded it to the NVIDIA BIOS archive section of this site so you will probably get it there as well. I think there is a design flaw in these GeForce 7900 GTX cards somewhere, it is definately not a heat issue related to GPU or memory... Who knows? but I would bet you my last money NVIDIA knows!
