Re:GeForce 7900 BIOS's... We want em... - 2006/03/13 13:06 Can't I even help by testing? I have a spare PCI video card around for when flashing fails. With NiBiTor v2.7 I changed the clock speeds from 520/750MHz to 550/850MHz after testing at those speeds extensively. Flashing the altered BIOS worked great. I also tested changing the Delta but I think something has changed since adding a Delta with NiBiTor v2.7 does't seem to do anything for the GeForce 7900 GT performance.

Yes the version number is different, one is more up-to-date and on top some minor changes are visible on the BIOS. What the exact change is I don't know as it seems not linked to clock rates, voltage and so on. But it might solve something that they discovered with driver issues or something...

Re:GeForce 7900 BIOS's... We want em... - 2006/03/14 17:31 There have been a few issues with lockups and artifacts that this bios may fix. I for one have been having issues with my 7900GTX SC. I probably wont flash until I hear back from eVGA's tech support but it may be a solution.
