Radeon 9000 lockup... - 2006/02/05 02:57 Okay, ya'll I'm back and my system has changed a lot, had to sell my old XP setup, and have a 1GHz P3 setup now. I'm running into a problem with this card though at 133MHz because my board only has a 2/3 and 1/1 ratio settings for AGP but has all PCI settings. It's an ASUS P2 99 Rev 1.12. Now what I'm wondering is there anyway to solve this, or am I just stuck operating my shiny new 1GHz P3 at 750MHz?

Re:Radeon 9000 lockup... - 2006/02/09 17:35 Okay, with my AGP bus running at 89MHz does the video card itself run hotter, I just out fitted the passive HSF with an old Pentium 5000rpm CPU fan. Would this solve my problem on the overclocked bus?

Re:Radeon 9000 lockup... - 2006/02/09 17:38 Euh it won't solve anything. The AGP bus is designed to run at 66MHz. So running it at 75MHz would still be okay for most systems but at 89MHz you can forget it the interface can't just cope with those speeds.

Re:Radeon 9000 lockup... - 2006/02/09 17:44 Do you know anywhere except eBay were i could find an FC-PGA370 motherboard? I spent 40 bucks on my 1GHz P3 and socket adapter. Now my BX board won't run it, though it was advertised it would.

Re:Radeon 9000 lockup... - 2006/02/11 13:56 Nope I wouldn't know... Sorry. I kno wthat in Belgium they have some local site that also is kindy like eBay but much better and all local sellers and buyers so is more trusty then on eBay. Although on eBay I have never had any issue yet...
