Gainward GeForce FX5900, been looking the original BIOS?! - 2006/01/11 12:17Hi, guys. I have a big problem. I know it's an old card, but here's what happend. I flashed my GeForce FX5900 to the GeForce FX5950 Ultra. It work fine but TV-out doesn't. But I didn't do the backup of my BIOS. I need Gainward GeForce FX5900 Ultra Golden Sample BIOS. Version is 4.35.20.45 found on page on the web, but can't download it from there, because they deleted it. The version 4.35.20.45 is better then 4.35.20.22 because gamma correction works for me then, and some other stuff. I have sent and email to Gainward but they won't help me. Please, can anyone help me? Thanks.

The only problem is that they all are named with numbers and so on, not names. So I need you to provide me all the serial numbers and so on you can find on the actual card on the back. They normally give there some numbers and with those I can check which BIOS you will need. I have done this already for others so get me those numbers you can find and then I can check my archive.

On one is G030755704, then other one is 4718462004981 and number on the third label where it write is G932000IP0J0. It also labels GeForce FX5900 128MB GS. Does this help? You can email BIOS's to me so I will look for it, if you want. Thanks!

The number I need to identify is G932000IP0J0. And I have the BIOS for it. So I just will zip it up and attach it on this thread and then you can just flash your graphics card with it and be saved hopefully.

Hmm, works, but this is version 4.35.20.22.00, and I'm looking for version 4.35.20.45.00. This one is okay, but 4.35.20.45.00 is better. Thanks anyway, but if anyone could find other version that would be perfect.

Now it works at 460/970MHz and with the .45.00 version I could go up to 500/1000MHz. Don't know why. Maybe deals the way cooling works. Is there anyway to enable TV-out on the GeForce FX5900 with the GeForce FX5950 Ultra BIOS? If it's possible then I would stay with the Ultra BIOS...
