Re:Submit your Original BIOS... - 2004/09/05 13:03 Thanks I will check it out tomorrow.
Well that is true if you flash from a PRO to a XT most have to force the flash. Which is kindy logic as the BIOS on the Card and the one you try to flash it with have different ID's.

That doesn't necessarily have to be true on all 9800 because I have flashed other PRO cards to XT without having to force them...

I'm pretty sure now that my HIS 9800 PRO card had Hynix memory because it almost crashed when I installed a BIOS for Samsung.

Re:Submit your Original BIOS... - 2004/09/24 06:32 I have the ATI X800 PRO I tried to mod but found out the ATI build cards can't be modded. So I flash the card with the only BIOS flash that I could find. That was the X800PRO.256MB.Samsung but the card still does nto perform like it did with the retail BIOS witch like a dummy... I did not save so if anyone has the ATI build X800PRO with the chip num "GB8803.1" please post here. This is a newer chip than most ATI cards I think thats why the retail BIOS need to be on this chipset...

Thanks,
Sanders

Re:Submit your Original BIOS... - 2004/11/15 11:09 I uploaded my bios last week, it still isn't available on the bios download page. Did something went wrong with upload or what?

Re:Submit your Original BIOS... - 2004/11/15 11:51 Thanks for the bios file!

Mavke is in charge of posting the files and he waits until he has 50 files to post before he does it, so . . .

If you have any more bios files, or you know anyone who does, tell them to wait a little while because I have inside information that Mavke may hold a Raffle and each bios file counts as a chance to win. Some files count as 2 chances to win. As this is inside information, it may be wrong, so don't hold me to it.

Re:Submit your Original BIOS... - 2004/11/24 03:07 Well, I had uploaded my original BIOS for the Sapphire 9800Pro 128MB card with the 2.8 Hynix mem. Hopefully I did it properly...

Re:Submit your Original BIOS... - 2004/11/26 05:59 OK, I have a n00b question. I used the ATITool 0.0.22, did the dump BIOS. It backed up successfully, now I can't find the "bios.bin". I look in the ATITool program file, but found nothing. I believe its time to ask for some help. Where did it back up to?

Re:Submit your Original BIOS... - 2004/11/26 06:03 Well try to do a search in windows then for "bios.bin"?
I have no ATI card so I can't help on that...
