Re:Using Linux, Unix, BSD,... - 2005/02/24 10:32 I aked this question in other forum and got only one reply: It didn't work for me...

As for me, I realy hate Windows, but can't get anything else working right.

Re:Using Linux, Unix, BSD,... - 2005/06/28 19:52 I've been happily running slackware since 9.1(10.1 is the current release). I love it, there's a learning curve of course, but once you get by that, wow. Who would've thought building a kernel could be so much fun? I've also managed to do some cool stuff with my nvidia card(s) in linux too. I overclocked my geforce 4mx 420 to 320mhz core and 470mhz ram stable(stock it's 250, 333). Did I mention I got the doom 3 demo running well enough to beat it with that card? I'm also working on unlocking the extra pipes in my 6200 with a little c program I found on here an compiled.

All we linux users need now is a nice benchmarking program like 3dmark. glxgears varies like crazy on different setups.

Re:Using Linux, Unix, BSD,... - 2005/11/17 05:39 I use x86_64 gentoo and use NiBiToR in wine. Running happily for a few days now... I tend to go through OS installs like water.
