Okay, well now since you have a GeForce 6800 GT which is actually the same as what I have, let's see what we can do. I have a PNY GeForce 6800 GT AGP. And you have a Gainward GeForce 6800 GT, is it an AGP or PCI-E card? Cause it depends as well maybe on that...

Re:GeForce 6800 GT but no display... - 2005/11/04 20:01 Hi, I have exactly the same problem with my PNY 6800GT AGP, when I want to upgrade or do anything with nvflash , it answer that EEPROM 20,FF is unknow.
Or I read on the component the reference and it's on the nvflash e2prom list.
I have change the flash to another and it's the same.
So I think that it's not e2prom but something else, but what?
The fan nvsilencer works well.
To do some test, I plug a pci card and boot on it.
If someone as ideas.

Re:GeForce 6800 GT but no display... - 2005/11/06 08:16 The problem is your EEPROM 20,FF is not on the list of supported EEPROMS in NVFLASH, itll be a case of the author adding this EEPROM to the program and allowing it to be flashed.

Once thats done, youll be able to flash your card without any problems.

To help though, what does it say on the component, we need all the details on it...

Re:GeForce 6800 GT but no display... - 2005/11/07 09:27 On my card I have a Atmel AT25F1024, so nvflash said it must reply by (1F,60) or I have 20,FF. So there no possiblity to flash bios because software don't know how to address to e2prom.
I have all the time 20,FF, it's not a random value.
Is there a possibility that my card has been modify for Overcloking by my bother (after it doesn't work) and a voltage has change? Condo to replace? Alim to check?
Does there something specific with my new Pc, agp voltage, incompatibility with bios or chipset?
I have have something to test I 'm ready.
