Re:Updating Drivers - BSOD - 2005/11/03 17:25 Update the VIA Chipset of the motherboard. Download the latest VIA Hyperion 4 n 1 drivers, then re-install the video card drivers.

kmixer.sys relates to your sound, so maybe uninstalling your sound devices and software (temporarily) and seeing what happens, but you need to try Fury's advice and update to the latest drivers possible.

I've been fighting with this for well over a month and no one had any answers for me. Thank you thank you thank you! I definitely know who to tell people to come to for help now !

Re:Updating Drivers - BSOD - 2005/11/04 06:46 Believe I spoke too soon... I got it to boot up once fine. Played around for a number of hours without a hitch. Turned off the game and was looking at a website and suddenly it blue screened. Then when I restarted, it booted up okay but the moment I try to run a program it freezes. So frustrating.

Re:Updating Drivers - BSOD - 2005/11/04 07:36 how long since its been since windows was redone ? if installing a driver kinda helped u out ( even for a short period of time ) sounds to me windows is telling ya something . also i would chack the innards of ur comp out Clean everything ( if that requires you to take stuff out and dust it do so ) get a can of air remove the psu unplug it first of coarse take it outside and blow the crap out of it , then proceed with the other components . and then redo windows . ( full reinstall including a format )
