NVIDIA ForceWare v81.85 WHQL 32bit and 64bit... - 2005/10/20 21:54 Just seen them appear on NVIDIA website... So these are the official v81.85 drivers which are WHQL certified.

They are not talking about the Beta drivers, but the Official WHQL drivers... And the Beta seems faster then the WHQL certified ones.

Re:NVIDIA ForceWare v81.85 WHQL 32bit and 64bit... - 2005/10/21 20:38 Interesting. I saw no hit in performance with either version. In fact, I got better performance with the 81.85 versus the 81.84. With my card at all default settings and my CPU at 2.5 GHz, I get around 8900 on 3Dmark05.

System:

AMD 64 3200+ @ 2.5 GHz, 7800 GTX at default driver settings, 500/1350 clocks.
